Thanksgiving Day 2012

We spent Thanksgiving, like we usually do, at my Aunt Evelyn's house.  Two of my cousins and their families came into town, so we had 9 kids there.  The kids usually only see each other once a year (if that), but they always seem to play together really well. 

Joey's Thanksgiving Music Program

Joey's music program for the year was Thanksgiving-themed. He was really excited about it and actually had fun.  He had the first speaking line and he said it perfectly.  When the music was going, he even added some of his own dance moves. 

Baby Shower

On Nov 10, some awesome women threw a baby shower for Ava and me.  It was a lot of fun and we got some great gifts.  Katherine was there and wanted to be involved in everything.  The last time I had baby showers was when I was pregnant with her, so it was cool to have her involved this time. 

Another Spinal Tap

On Nov 6, Joey had another spinal tap with Vincristine in his port and started his week of steroids.  It was sort of a rough week for him.  For the next 3 days, he ended up sleeping in the nurses office at school, and he had body aches and a head ache for several days.  He made it through and is now feeling much better.

I like to document things and I finally got to take a video of his spinal tap. I've heard from some people that it's not easy to watch.  I sort of forget because it's just a part of our lives right now.

Halloween 2012

For the first time, we did trick-or-treating in our own neighborhood.  Our friend Aaliyah came out with us.  After going through the neighborhood, we went to the church for the Fall Festival.

I thought it would be nice to get some pictures of the kids with my pregnant belly.  They've been having a lot of fun with it and Joey kisses it several times a day, so I wanted to capture a little bit of it to help them remember it later.
