End of Year Program

The kids' school put on a program for the end of the year. They both were great. Katherine gave the introducion and Joey played the maracah during the Spanish song.

2009 Invention Convention

This year Katherine was really excited about the Invention Convention at school. She came up with the idea completely on her own. She wanted to make a "person" to hold the clothes that we have picked out for her to wear the next day. She puts a shirt on one arm, pants on the other, shoes on the feet, and hair things on the fake hair. She was really happy to win 4th because she got a trophy.

Jon's Tatoo

Last month, Jon was daring enough to get a large tatoo on his back. He wasn't able to get it completed in one sitting, but it still looks good.

Easter 2009

We spent the Friday before Easter with family. The kids had an egg hunt, and we celebrated Jon's 34th birthday.

On Saturday, we went to Cow Town. The kids had a blast.

Easter morning, we had an egg hunt at home. We filled the eggs with cash instead of giving them Easter baskets with toys and candy like we usually do.

3rd Tooth!

Katherine was getting annoyed by a loose tooth and talked Jon into 'helping' it with a pair of pliers. She is now missing 3 of the bottom middle teeth.

Garden Show 2009

We took our annual trip to the garden the first Saturday in March. It also happened to be Mom's birthday. Jon had spent about a week and a half working on the Hong's garden, and it looked really good.
