Camp Quality Reunion

We got together with the Camp Quality folks for a reunion at Cox Farm.  The boys had a blast together.

Belt Testing

Katherine tested for her blue tips on her green belt.  It was the first time she was required to break a board to test, but she was disappointed because the board wasn't very thick and she had practiced with a much harder one.  For the first time, she was the highest level belt there.

Light the Night 2012

We had a much smaller walk them this year, but it was a great night.  Our fundraising goal was $5,000 and we got to $49,72.80 - so close!  My friend, Erin, and I were the very last 2 people to finish the walk.  I barely made it, but I did.  Last I heard, the walk raised around $200,000!

Joseph Turns 7

We had a busy day on Joseph's birthday (Oct 20), but it was good.  We're excited for his next year - he'll become a big brother and finish his cancer treatments!

Pumpkins

We couldn't go through October without carving pumpkins.  Joey didn't want to clean his out because he didn't want his hands to get dirty, but he finally got used to it.  Katherine has no problem getting her hands dirty.

 

LLS Support Group Halloween Party

We have a lot of fun with our LLS friends.  We made it to the Halloween party for the first time this year.  This kids did a scavenger hunt, a pumpkin hunt, and toured the fire station (it's the station where Chad works, but he wasn't on that day). 

Katherine Turns 10

On her actual birthday (Oct 16), we went to dinner and she got her presents from her family.
