Family Vacation

We took a family vacation to San Antonio last week. It was the first vacation we have taken with the four of us. We got there on Friday afternoon and left Tuesday morning. We saw the Alamo, spent time at the River Walk, and spent 2 days at Sea World.

We ate at the Rain Forest Cafe on the River Walk our first night there.

We waited in line to get into the main building. It was hot, but not as hot as it was in Wichita!

This is one area of the River Walk. We ate under the umbrellas and took a ride on one of the river boats.


Our hotel was built in 1852 (or something close to that). It was very cool.

Summer Fun

Joseph is going to a summer gymnastics class at the Y. He loves it. He isn't scared of anything.

He loves to jump off the tall mat into the pit.


He also likes the tramopline.

The kids love to play in the water.

Grandma and Grandpa took us to the Museum of World Treasures. I was surprised at the amount of stuff they have. Katherine had been asking for months to go, so we finally took her.

Joey has a very quirky personality and I keep getting some adorable videos of him.

Spiderman

Joey has decided in the last few months that he loves Spiderman. He goes around yelling "I Spiderman!".

Father's Day

I thought this was too cute not to take a picture of. This is Jon & Joseph on Father's Day. It's also where we find them almost every Sunday afternoon - on my mom's sofa in front of the big screen TV.

Soccer Awards

The Upward Soccer season ended with an awards ceremony. Each player was given a mini soccerball as their award.

Kids' Zoobilee

Saturday night, we went to Kids' Zoobilee at the zoo. Home Depot gave out plants to plant and kits to make wooden ships. The big girls spent a lot of time in the inflatibles.
