Sam

We decided to adopt a dog who needed a home. Sam is 5 and is very sweet, although he had a little bit of a hard time at first. He also tore his ACL after a few weeks and required surgery and 2 months of recuperation.

Sam is the lighter one.

Grandma's Birthday

In March, we celebrated Mom/Grandma's birthday by going to the Garden Show and then having dinner. The kids all got their faces painted at the show.

Christmas 2009

We had a great Christmas day. The morning started no too early - we actually had to wake up the kids. As every year, we start the morning with reading the Christmas story from Luke. Then the kids wanted Jon and I to open our presents first, which shocked me. Katherine had done some shopping this year at the PTO store at school, so she was anxious to see us open them.

We went to my mom's house later in the morning. She out-did herself as usual. The kids were surrounded by gifts!

Chad gave Joey his fire badge from when he was on the reserves. Joey thought that was pretty cool.
