We are happy to hear he is in remission!! We know you must feel frustrated with all the recent complications Joey is enduring, but just remember you have wonderful support in family, friends, and most important God.
We will continue to pray that things get better and Joey gets to come home soon!!!!!Chuck and Karen Schlieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17898916782380559925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8324892709707641819.post-55814007260399987952010-11-03T13:12:24.851-05:002010-11-03T13:12:24.851-05:00No cliche's or pat answers to offer. You've done everything right and bad things still happen.

If you haven't done so, I'd really recommend finding a therapist or support group where you can talk about what you're going through. The biggest mistake of my life was waiting so long to do so. I was angry at God, the world, everything for a long time. I couldn't understand how he could allow some of the things that happened happen. I couldn't understand why he'd take good people, young people, from the world. It was only through talking about it that I was able to slowly overcome those issues.

You cannot control what tomorrow brings any more than you can control the sun rising. Just try to stay positive and look on the good things.

It's been over a month since your son was diagnosed. You've made it over a month! That's a huge step. He's in remission. Children have an 80% cure rate for ALL. And that's just an average, it's actually even higher depending on the risk factor.

All you can do is be there for him. He's happy (that video of him laughing is probably the cutest thing in the world), he's loved and he has a relationship with the Lord, no matter what happens no one, no thing can take any of those things away. You and your family have provided that for him.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05291389362600436743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8324892709707641819.post-47626580228076108752010-11-03T09:30:06.364-05:002010-11-03T09:30:06.364-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05291389362600436743noreply@blogger.com
